Latest Updates & Bug Fixes to RED 1/22/19

The RED team is pleased to announce the following feature updates (1/15/19) within the RED theme:

  • New Numbering and Bulleted format options available within the components.   Users can now use the following:
    • Under Numbered list format:
      • Lower Alpha
      • Lower Greek
      • Lower Roman
      • Upper Alpha
      • Upper Roman
    • Under Bulleted list format:
      • Circle
      • Disc
      • Square

 

  • Profile posts now have additional content options
    • Users can add up to 10 “Selected Publications”
    • Ability to add a secondary set of contact information for the profile

 

  • The search function is now only pulling results for content on the specific site.
    • If a visitor is so inclined, after conducting a site search, it will allow them to generate search results for “All UIC Sites” with their keywords.

 

We were also able to squash one bug in the latest update:

  • Resolved a major issue of the course site homepage’s conflict with PHP7.
