Know the Red Theme Guidelines
As you get ready to create, launch or update your website, it's recommended that you review the Red Theme Guidelines created to help you adhere to accessibility and privacy compliance requirements, UIC brand standards and best practices for web usability.
These guidelines are based on the UIC Web Strategy and Standards reviewed by the Web Advisory Committee, as well as UIC's Brand Standards and the laws and regulations on privacy and accessibility compliance by which UIC websites are bound.
They address topics of accessibility, usability, unfiltered HTML and scripts, forms and data collection, and file storage and PDFs.
The Digital Communications team will review your site for adherence to these guidelines when you request to launch it, as well as review any issues or concerns brought to our attention. If we discover an issue of concern, we will work with you to correct it.
