With the latest update to RED, 2/25/20, the developers have implemented the following fixes and enhancements:

  • The network core has been upgraded to WordPress version 5.1. Due to accessibility failures reported by WPCampus, we are suppressing the Gutenberg interface with the Classic Editor plugin; site admins and their staff may notice slight cosmetic enhancements to some dashboard elements, but the editing layout for pages and posts will remain unchanged.
  • The Gravity Forms plugin has been upgraded to the current version, v2.4.17. On a related note: some users have reported their Gravity Forms license has expired, which is punctuated by a red warning banner in the “Forms” section of the dashboard. This is not expected behavior. If you see this error on your site, please reach out to us via our contact form.
  • The WP RSS Aggregator plugin was upgraded to v4.17.3 to fix a conflict related to the Media Gallery.
  • All attachment pages for Media Gallery items (including files uploaded directly to the Media Gallery) now automatically redirect to the host site’s home page. The contents of these attachment pages will no longer be indexed by search engines.
