With the latest update, 4/30/19, the RED Team has made significant fixes to the RED Theme:

  • Google Maps:  Within the Highlight Contact and individual Event posts, the Google Map is now showing up.  Users will not be able to see a dynamic map on the back-end, but the actual map will appear on the front end for visitors.  Within both the Single Event and Highlight Contact map there is a new field called ‘zoom’, which allows the user to change (via a slider/number) how the map will generate on the front end.  To the left of the slider, you will see a style guide that has corresponding numbers to assist in correlating the map view to the zoom level set.  One issue to be aware of:  if the address for the Highlight Contact component (created before this update) was improperly entered, users will need to go back in and make sure it is the correct address.  Just FYI: the Text Block w/ Map component will be working after the next update (5/7/19).
  • Event posts are now appearing in proper chronological order (based on both date and start time – including all day events).  Just be aware that if an event post, set as “All Day Event,” was created before this update, users will need to go back into the event post and manually click the “Update” button on each “All Day Event” post to make sure it appears on the front end.  “All Day” Event posts moving forward will not require this manual update.
  • The titles for At A Glance components can now be hidden.
  • The Giving Form components now has an updated front end UI to ease confusion for visitors/donors.

As always, we appreciate your patience as we strive to make RED a more capable and smooth theme.  If you have any questions of bug reports, please don’t hesitate to contact us via our webform.
