The UIC Red website network has been subjected to repeated and unrelenting “attacks” by automated “bots” attempting to access the network. The frequency of these attempts slows down overall platform access and speed, as our web hosting servers must respond to so many fictitious login requests.

We have been advised by UIC Technology Solutions and our web hosting partner, Pantheon, that we should change our basic login syntax to complicate and reduce the number of incoming fictitious login attempts.

On Wednesday, May 14, all Red website users and administrators will need to start using the new URL to login and manage their respective Red websites. Please refer to the email sent 4/24/2025 to Red site admins for specific instructions.
