With today’s update to RED, our developers have brought us a couple “cures” to some bugs that had been going around. These updates will improve the following:
- Conflicting media gallery upload limits have been resolved. File uploads will be limited to 2MB for select areas such as the Home page header, Landing page header, and the Slideshow component. Help text has been added to those areas to avoid confusion. All other areas involving image upload and use are restricted to 15MB per file.
- 15MB images in the header or into slideshows, for example, give users a negative experience when visiting the site, so that’s why these 3 components have been limited to 2MB
- The styling has now been fixed for the “Top Section Title” on the splash page. When selecting Background: Image and Text Color: Light in the Splash Page Top Section, any text entered in the “Top Section Title” field will appear as white on the front end. This previously appeared incorrectly as black text.
- For the colors on RED, the Red&Purple color schemes under “Theme Settings” has no been changed to Red&Navy. The change was made to improve alignment with our primary brand colors, and no action is required.
